October's Rose

Gorgeous and fragrant,
You could smell it in the air.

Timeless and hopeful,
   The love that we share.

Honest and kind,
   The hearts we possess.

Eager yet youthful
   As our lives progress.

A Rose for every month
But the first is the best.

For God sent me to you,
Because of you, I am blessed.

October's Rose is pink
And it's the one I cling to so.

For other Roses may come,
But I'll always have Mrs. to show.

Tears fall from my eyes in you absence

I long to hold you tight in my arms again

To caress you face as I stare into you eyes

I love you dearly and miss you terribly

I wish I could speed up time until you here again

You are my only lover and my best friend

You are part of me, inside and out

And I'm not whole without you

My Carebear, my fiancee, My Nick,

Hurry home to me!

Why couldn't we have stayed at less?
Why did we have to become more?

Why did we cross the line?
Then turn around and slam the door?

Why can't it just be easy?
And when will I stop missing you?

There is the something
Both of us know we have to do:

We will go our seperate ways,
So that no one else has to pay.

Until another time and day,
Good bye is all I can say.

Wanting To Escape

I used to cut myself
To watch myself bleed.
Now I think about it,
I see the pain it didn't relieve.

All the pain is still there,
Building up inside.
I'm trying to run
From a past, I cannot hide.

I feel tied down
To this horribly awful place.
The only thing that will save me
is God's Amazing Grace.

So I pray to the Heavens,
and I hope that They'll see
How much I truly want
Somewhere else to be.

It takes two...

Friendship is like Marriage,
It takes two to make it true.
No, it can not be onesided,
It takes two to make it through.
Some arguments but more agreements
It takes two to make it last.
With smiles and tears,
It takes two to make a past.
